Oberon [collection] : opera in three acts / by Carl Maria von Weber. 1826-1919.

Arranged in five groups: I. Vocal scores (3 in 4 vols.). II. Orchestra parts (14). III. Promptbooks (3). IV. Librettos (1). V. Dialogue parts (12). The vocal scores include an English edition by Welsh & Haines (London, 1826?), an Italian/German edition by Schlesinger (Parigi, 1829?), and a German edition by Universal (Wien, 191-?). The complete (?) set of orchestra parts is handwritten, each bound in a Tams folder with a printed part for the overture (New York; Carl Fischer, pl. no. 3597-38). Performance cuts are indicated. One of the promptbooks, in German, is based on a published libretto (Dresden, Leipzig; s.n., 1826), which contains interleaved pages of manuscript stage directions and other annotations. The remaining copies are handwritten in German, and one bears the signature of Wm. Kreitz. The libretto was published in Köln (s.n., n.d.). Dialogue parts are German manuscripts.
